Aftercare

ADHESIVE BANDAGE INSTRUCTIONS:

Keep the bandage on for 5-7 days. Do not submerge your tattoo in standing water - showers are fine.

Do not play with or puncture the bandage. It is OK if it fills with fluids. Take it off if the fluids come out, if it peels off exposing the tattoo to open air, or if you develop an allergic reaction to the bandage.

If you take the bandage off before 5-7 days, follow the dry heal instructions listed below.

DRY HEAL INSTRUCTIONS:

Wash your new tattoo at least twice a day using running water and antibacterial soap. Do not use bar soap. Do not submerge your tattoo in standing water - showers are fine.

Pat the tattoo dry with paper towels, do not use bath towels. Do not rub, scratch or pick at the tattoo.

Do not use Vaseline, Aquaphor, Neosporin or any petroleum products on the tattoo.

If the tattoo is itchy or flaking, you can use a water-based moisturizer. Avoid exfoliating products or sunscreen on the area until completely healed. The tattoo should be completely healed within 1-1½ months.
